    The Black Phone (2022)

It is a genuinely chilling horror film, delivering all of the scares present in the source material.

A visceral and gut-wrenching horror story filled with unrelenting tension and delicious frights, The Black Phone perfectly dances the line between sweet coming-of-age sentimentality and fear-inducing horrific nightmare. You'll not only get a horror film with scares, but also a good story with solid fleshed out characters.

    Everything Everywhere All At Once

The latest edition in the growing trend of psychology movies masquerading as fantasy movies. It was okay during Narnia days. It was fresh. But how many times we will swallow the same strange, boring pill..?? Some such movies are indeed good, like LOTR, Ratatouille, Inside Out, etc. But shoving it down our throat all the time is repulsive and unfair. HOw many times we will watch the same story again and again ??
In 2021-22, itself there were several such movies: Clifford the Big Red Dog, Boss Baby, Turning Red, Encanto, Free Guy, The Adam Project, Nightbooks, etc
I get it: embrace yourself, change is good, you are unique and being unique is not bad, trust yourself .... Please don't turn messages into fantasy stories. Papa, for god's sake, stop preaching... !!!

    The Black Phone (2021)

Okay, this is more of a popcorn horror flick than a genre defining nightmare with ground breaking, terrifying scenes the trailers intended to sell. Nonetheless, it grips you throughout and hardly lets you feel its run-time and that itself is quite an achievement these days.

    Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2021)

Any fan should watch this movie, but I think any fan would already know that.

Seeing the characters and animation of Jujutsu Kaisen on the big screen proves to be absolutely breathtaking. This truly is a distillation of what makes the anime so great. From its stunning animation and spectacular fights to its engrossing storytelling, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is everything fans of the source manga and anime series could hope for.

House of the devil (2009) :

Neither good horror nor a good mystery.

If you build up the intrigue and mystery slowly for 3/4th of the movie, then the last 20 min should blow your f***ing minds off!!

But here, after the climax, you are left with "that's it "???

    1/5.

No payoff for the buildup. Huge writing mistake.

    Kingsman (2014) :

    Excellent action comedy....

You will smile after watching each action block because it's so good.

    4/5
