    The Mist

Taut and Gripping,The Mist is a neatly woven cinema with ample amount of thrills and emotions. An interesting premise backed by some strong performances and arresting narration makes this a good watch.Thomas Jane hogged the entire film through his brilliant portrayal,he was at his intense best making it an indelible performance. The rest of the cast were fine.

The expectations were quite high for this one since it comes from the maker who helmed the classic "Shawshank Redemption",and without doubt,it was a satisfying experience.Franks Darabont once again stamps his signature all over the craft, the sublime manner through which he presented such an enthralling tale made it a different cinema unlike the usual sci-fi thrillers. On the whole,The Mist is an engaging flick.

    Overall,The Mist is Impressive !

Spielberg movies are best known for its technical fineness and this one is no exception.Even though it is a 1971 flick, the film boasts of some stunning visuals.Duel was Spielberg's first full length feature film and this was more than enough to showcase his immense craftsmanship, the racy narrative pattern is indeed the biggest strength of this cinema. To sum it up,Duel is a wonderful thriller which has enough nail biting moments to keep you engaged.

    Overall,Duel is a Superb Thriller !

    Life

Life is easily the most intriguing sci-fi thriller to come out in recent times.Since i'm not great admirer of this genre, the expectations were quite low,and the sole reason to watch this was Jake - being his fan,i just cant ought to miss out his movie. To my surprise, the film was tightly packed with adequate thrills and drama, and it eventually turned out to be a gripping watch.Jake like always monopolized the entire film delivering a stupendous performance, the subtlety he brought out while portraying the emotional scenes once again proved his acting prowess.Rebecca Ferguson and the rest of the cast were good, but why was Ryan Reynolds roped in for such a short role.

Daniel Espinosa did an impressive job, unlike many of the late sci-fi thrillers which fails to rise above the visual splendor it offers, this one alternately entertains the viewers offering an edge of the seat experience through an interesting premise. The film has both suave technical aspects and an engaging theme, and it indeed forms as one of its biggest assets,The technical department did an amazing job, each and every aspect were top-notch.On the whole,Life is a well crafted cinema, and definitely the recent best in its genre.

    Overall,Life is Superb !

    Baywatch

A mundane plot filled with some tiresome actions and tedious comedies,Baywatch is nothing short of a colossal disappointment.Seth Gordon had everything which could have been made into an enjoyable entertainer, still he failed largely in making this a satisfying cinema. The film has some star faces, nevertheless none of them including Dwayne Johnson and Zac Effron were able to pull off decent performances.Priyanka Chopra is wasted in an underwritten role, all she had to do was to look gorgeous and render some humdrum villainous lines.

Seth Gordon did nothing being the director, the film neither had an engaging theme nor any praiseworthy aspect, all it had was a bunch of cringeworthy sequences.Right from the start, the film heavily depends on its style and all those glamour factors throw in too keep the viewers entertained, but nothing really worked since the absence of a substantial theme was evident throughout. The soundtracks were the only positive,it somehow managed to make few scenes passable. To sum it up,Baywatch aspires to be one of those summer blockbusters, but falls flat from being one.

    Overall,Baywatch is Disappointing !

    Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is doubtlessly the much needed comeback for DC,High on action with an equally captivating presentation,Wonder Woman turns out to be a spectacular superhero cinema.Packed with Jaw-Dropping stunts and engrossing sequences, this has everything a viewer expects from a Superhero flick.Gal Gadot was truly a revelation, she lights up every sequence through her scorching screen presence and enthralling performance. One cannot even imagine another actor reprising the iconic character,In every bit - Gal Gaadot is the Wonder Woman.Chris Pine did his part superbly, his onscreen chemistry with Gal worked out largely in creating the much needed feel. The rest of the cast were fine in their respective roles.

Without any second thoughts,Patty Jenkins did a wonderful job.Except Christopher Nolan who helmed "The Dark Knight Trilogy",no other directors were able to pull off a cinema which was on par with the comics. However,Patty Jenkins does that in style. When most of the previous DC ventures were more of a visual gimmick with a downright dark tone,Patty Jenkins on the other hand made it highly entertaining by keeping a perfect equilibrium over style and substance. The technical aspects were great like always, still the soundtracks were worth mentioning since it created an arousing feel when all the gravity defying stunts took place. To sum it up,Wonder Woman is a Perfect Superhero flick which can be enjoyed by both Marvel and DC fans.

    Overall,Wonder Woman is Superb !

    21 Jump Street

Full of style and exuberance,21 Jump Street is a spirited entertainer. The sparkling lead combo backed by a genuinely engaging theme makes this a joyful experience.Jonah Hill - Channing Tatum combo is something to watch out for, their buoyant performances filled with fantastic energy itself makes this an interesting watch. The rest of the cast were fine, and finally, the hasty yet impressive cameo of Johnny Depp was nicely done.

Phil Lord - Miller, the director duo did a fine job.The film doesn't have anything great or awe-inspiring to boast off, still it was smartly packaged with all sorts of elements to make it a perfect entertainer. This one is filled with crisp cuts, suave frames and vibrant soundtracks, indeed the slick and elegant technical aspects gave a charming outlook to the movie. On the whole,21 Jump Street offers some really good entertainment.

Overall,21 Jump Street is Entertaining !

    The Terminal

Tom Hanks - Spielberg combo is always a joy to watch.May it be the Classic "Saving Private Ryan" or the latest "Bridge of Spies",they always come up with something befitting. The Terminal is yet another fantastic movie from them - honest and absorbing to the core, this one offers a great watch.Tom Hanks like always delivers a stunning performance,he was indeed the heart and soul of this cinema.Catherine Zeta Jones,Stanley Tucci,Kumar Pallana,Diego Luna and Chi Mcbride were superb in their respective roles.

There is no need to describe Spielberg's competence as a phenomenal filmmaker. The remarkable way of storytelling backed by one astonishing technical team is always the key for a Spielberg flick, but here,Spielberg's magnificent making was supported by Hank's astounding performance which made it even more pleasing. The alluring soundtracks are worth mentioning since it created a joyous atmosphere, while the rest of the aspects were equally good.On the whole,The Terminal is a Wonderful Cinema.

    Overall,The Terminal is Beautiful !

    Stay

Stay is an ambitious attempt, still there is something missing which prevents it from being a top-class stuff. The visual style depicted in this has large similarities with Mulholland Drive, however it was not able to meet the opulent standards set by David Lynch. The performances were fine from the lead cast, both Ryan Gosling and Ewan McGregor were good.Naomi Watts in a brief role delivers a neat performance.

The narrative pattern of Stay proves that Marc Foster is director with great potential, the zeal and commitment of a filmmaker is evident in his craft.Stay could have been much better if the culmination was a bit more potent. The ending will definitely take the viewers by surprise, still the lack of proper reasoning makes it indigestible. On the whole,Stay is cinema of great complexity.

    Overall,Stay is Above Average !
