post-2000 only one movie of him seems popular: nolan's insomnia (2002)....i have seen it but didn't like it.
just counted the votes on on imdb: post-2000, only 3 out of his 24 movies have votes above 100,000: insomnia, the recruit, and oceans 13.

yes..it's true...in most movies after 1990 he is paired with another actor like depp in donnie brasco, de niro in heat etc...in donnie i must say i liked depp more than pacino...but in heat i think pacino was better than de niro
