The IRISHMAN:
A reverse GODFATHER narrative, we could say.
A henchman or accomplice talking about his life with his Godfather, in fact a couple of godfathers.
Slow narrative, lengthy scenes, too detailed, much like the 60s or 70s Italian Mafia movies.
Three time periods were interleaved in the narration, which makes viewers confused initially.
The main attraction for me, leaving the cast, are the dialogues.
A very particular style of conversations between the lead three, maybe typical of the 60s period.
Al Pacino dialogues were the best, though unable to comprehend the meaning of some dialogues directly.
We should think and understand what exactly the three are conveying.
The ending was more academic than dramatic.
