    Nobody (2021)

On paper, there are many elements in this movie's plot which you have seen before in other films. However, the makers still manage to weave an entertaining action film. Nobody serves as an impressive entry to action for Bob Odenkirk, and what looks like it could be the first of a franchise.

    The Soul (Chinese, Netflix, 2021)

The mystery works well, but many will question the unexpected ending. Regardless, the journey proves to be intriguing. In its favor, The Soul is tonally distinct and exceptionally well-acted.

You'll either love or hate the big reveal! :')

    The Father (2020)

An accomplished directorial debut by Florian Zeller, The Father is a touching exploration of the effects of dementia, in which the tender wisdom of Zeller's script is beautifully complemented by a wonderful performance from Anthony Hopkins.

As a man helplessly fading, Hopkins gives one of the most intense performances in his acclaimed career!

    Minari (Korean, English, 2020)

With a deeply moving emotional current, Minari is at once a heartbreaker, a journey for the soul and the senses, and ultimately the life-affirming experience you need it to be. Well-written, well-acted, and patiently crafted, this is an absorbing portrait of familial warmth and 'The Great American Dream'.

    Wholesome!

what happened to monday (2017) starring noomi rapace. she plays 7 siblings named after every day from sunday to saturday. monday goes missing and otehrs try to find out.
sci fiction aanu. first 20-25 mins was superb, unique and engrossing. it goes downhill afterwards and towards the end it becomes a total mess.
i would still recommend this movie for the first 25 mins and also to understand how a superb premise can be screwed and made into a mess.
