Ore Mukham - Mixed Feelings !

Ore Mukham is an average cinema.It aspires to be a quality thriller,but the amateurish making spoils the fun to an extent.Everything in this movie seems to be half-baked,even the basic plot has so many missing factors.Performances are fine though nothing worth mentioning.Dhyan puts up a decent show although his dialogue delivery lacks the needed.Aju managed to be the saving grace during many of the scenes with his amazing comedy timing & witty one-liners.Chemban Vinod is good playing the cop,but his role was wasted towards the last.Prayaga,Abhirami,Jewel & Gayathri fits the female cast,but none of them has much to perform.Supporting Cast were okay.casting could have been better.

Technically,Ore Mukham is good.The makers were successful in presenting the 80's college life,the settings & art works really helped in maintaining that feel.Dop is good,the past & present sequences were given the apt color tone which made it better on the whole.Songs are not much impressive,one of bijibal's worst album except for the theme song.The first half is watchable,baring the initial parts which was uninteresting,the former half on the whole was okay.The college episodes were the entertaining portions with few good comedies to laugh out.Second half is just average with an okay climax,the plot-twist is fine,but the presentation or the making lacks the fizz needed for a thriller,many questions are left behind & many characters were brought with no use.

Sajith Jaganadhan as a debutante maker did an average job,he had a plot which could have been made into an excellent thriller,but his making is formulaic & cliched.Some of the portions was handled with proper expertise while many of the scenes were taken amateurishly .The film has something missing,we will not get the feel of watching a complete cinema after we leave the hall,as said earlier,many questions are left behind.The climax which could have been a real stunner,but the way of presentation made it to an okay level even though the final twist saves the movie to an extent.In short,if you go without expecting a quality thriller,you may find this to be an average watch at best,a wasted oppurtunity.

Overall,Ore Mukham is an Average Cinema !
