Shah Rukh Khan starts prepping for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next!

Mumbai: Only last year, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project, a biopic on Urdu poet Sahir Ludhianvi, was announced and by the looks of it, the filmmaker has found his leading actor. Earlier, we told you that the filmmaker has roped in Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh to portray Sahir’s character on the silver screen. This will be SLB’s second collaboration with the actor after 2002 film ‘Devdas’.

The film, which will be titled as ‘Gustakhiyan’, will track the poet’s journey and also throw light on his personal life, his relationship with Punjabi writer and poetess Amrita Pritam and singer Sudha Malhotra.

Now recent reports suggest that Bhansali met Shah Rukh Khan last week to talk about the film’s script. Reports further reveal that the actor has already started prepping for his role.

If everything falls according to the plan, this might just be another masterpiece from Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan. The two have already been spending time together for the film.

Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra fans can finally rejoice. The Don 2 jodi may return to the big screen in 2018! Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been planning Urdu poet-lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi ‘s biopic for quite sometime now.

In an earlier interview, Priyanka Chopra had revealed that she had dates only for two movies in 2017 -one Indian and one international. The actress has been filming the second season of her American FBI drama in New York, besides Hollywood film debut, 'Baywatch'.

She returned to Mumbai on December 19 for a two-week break and has learnt that while speculations are rife that PeeCee is the front runner to play Amrita Pritam in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Sahir Ludhianvi biopic 'Gustakhiyan', she is actually in talks with SLB for a female-oriented drama which he is scripting. It will have two actors opposite her.

Bhansali also recently met the Raees actor last week to handover the script of the biopic to SRK. SLB apparently spoke to Shah Rukh on how he would like to direct the actor in 2018. A source close to the development was quoted saying, “There is a lot of poetry in the film and SRK has been reading Sahir’s ghazals and nazms.”

Speculations were rife about PC playing Amrita Pritam inSLB's biopic Gustakhiyan on Sahir Ludhianvi. However, the actress is said to bein talks with the filmmaker for a female-oriented film which will have twoactors opposite her.

A source is quoted saying, "Priyanka will meet Bhansaliat his office next week and is expected to sign on the dotted line only inFebruary."
