what i would like to see is, the relation between father and son through the bad experiences in their life... no whitewashing, no getting into the politics of it... everyone knows what happened... how did the father and son get through it, starting from Sunil directing him in Rocky ending with both of them playing father-son in Munnabhai... in between you have the drug addiction, loss of mother and wife to cancer, bindaas bhidu image, depths and then rising out of it, and finally not opting to flee the country or anything but undergo the punishment like any indian citizen would... theres scope for a lot of drama even which can be done without including the mumbai blasts or the ak-47's. i think so.

Most likely he would be portrayed as a victim of circumstances ....scope of drama is immense as his life been a roller coaster ride....grey shade ulla character athu pole thanne kaanikuvo ennu nokkam ...

considering what went through sanjay's life and also considering hirani is not someone you associate with heavy drama, don't think this would even be about the political overtures in his life. the only drama would be about the relations in his life and most of them would be seen through a funny eye i guess.
