Went with mixed expectation after seeing the reviews. Story for such movies are always predictable. So that is okay and we do not expect any major deviation from the same.


Now what makes Ezra different - Technical Brilliance, Quality of each frame, Backdrop of Jewish rituals, No compromise on main thread by adding comedy situations to woo more audience - These are some of the difference in Ezra when compared to previous horror movies in Malayalam.


First few minutes establishes the evil spirit of Ezra in a box and then the family life of Ranjan and his wife and their love life. Then the movie gets into the evil spirit entering the body of Ranjan's wife and Ranjan's crackdown on Ezra's mystery with the help of a Jewish priest. Pretty regular but presented brilliantly. Background score adds to the haunting experience in the movie.

Climax does not live up the level film establishes until that time
Pretty predictable incidents in the movie


Overall Summary - One of the best horror movie in Malayalam with no compromise to the central theme of the movie. Might not go well with general audience due to the lack of fun quotient.
