Oru Mexican Apaaratha is a fine political drama.With enough moments provided for the targeted audience to cheer and whistle,this one offers a good one time watch.The realistic environment in which the story has been narrated is indeed the biggest strength of this film,the characters and situations thrown in were lively without the presence of cinematic gimmicks.Tovino Thomas doubtlessly makes a mark in this cinema,he pulled out the role with much needed charm and massive screen presence.Except for some minor glitches,it was a superb performance.Neeraj Madhav delivers one of his finest performances,superbly controlled and perfectly emoted,he puts up an outstanding performance.Roopesh Peethambaran is another actor to look out for,he played the antagonist part exceptionally.Supporting Cast were good,Gayathri Suresh is the only artist who was brought in needlessly.

Technically,Oru Mexican Apaaratha is a good product.The makers were successful in creating a pragmatic campus environment that has its share of fun,friendship and political rivalry.The frames along with the levitating tunes made the proceedings entertaining.Editing was not up to the mark,many of the scenes were just added without any sake.Music is not much impressive except for the Kalippu song.First Half started on an average note,towards the middle,the film picked up pace and ended on a good interval block.Second Half was much more pacy and engaging than the former half,there were some nicely crafted massy sequences.Climax is easily the best part,it will be a real treat for the targeted audience and even the normal viewers are gonna enjoy it.

Tom Emmatty made his debut directorial venture on a decent note.A wafer-thin plot has been made into a fine cinema with all the elements to make you entertained.The humungos hype is the sole factor which is going to affect this movie,this one even though a decent flick was not able to rise up to the heavy expectations.The glorification a prominent party is another factor,this will disappoint a major section of audience who have different political ideologies.Anyways,if you approach this just as a cinema without huge expectations,this may turn out to be a fine one time watch.
