The pre-release hype built for this movie was huge with no reasons other than Mam in a Stylish Avatar. His fans always loves his stylish and rough and tough looks and style.


To the movie. The movie starts of setting the family backfrop of David from his daughter's perspective. Her father is her hero and she dreams big about her Daddy which she boasts of with her friends. First half and that songs sets the context and then movie gets into the real issue. From then on movie shifts gear. The sentiments have worked out really well. Viewers will get the feel of pain the family has to go through in such a situation. At the same time makers have tried to avoid showing too much on the real incident. Interval punch is good with the turn in the mood of the film - Sarah's father starting his Hunt.


When first half was filled with lighter moments for family and then the incident and sentiments associated with it, 2nd half is a treat for Fans. The cool father David on his Hunt with a running race with Cops. Lot of good one liners and on top of all these, terrific attittude and looks from Mam. It is just awesome. The hunt goes on as a smooth ride with lot of great moments which will make fans jump out of their seats. Finally the climax which the makers have done very intelligently. They did not make it too intense but closed with a real good climax fight. And then the climax speech... Ooff... Goosebumps... Not getting into too much details in this half since it will spoil your viewing experience.


We have seen several adaptation of Taken, even though this is not similar to Taken the hero is very similar and do not miss the chance to view such a movie / hero in Malayalam.


Positives
Mammootty - Clean one man show and again super cool rough and tough guy played to perfection
Direction - Payyan kollam. Another good director for Malayalam from Mam.
Background Score - Has worked real well.


Negatives
First half is little slow at times.
No much role for Sneha. Makers focused more on Father - Daughter chemistry and no much focus on Mother.


Overall Summary - Great movie enjoyable with family and a very relevant subject of recent times. Go grab the tickets if you like Stylish movies, Rough and Tough Hero movies.

Saw the movie 2nd time with family from EKM PVR Cinemas. Mar 31st, 9:45pm show. HF aayirunnu... Ippozhaanu kure dialogues okke mariyaadhacku kelkaan pattiyadhu... Aadhyam kandadhu Fans show aayirunnallo... Pinne Aluva Matha Sound System ,when I saw the Fans Show. 2nd time also nice watch. Families-inokke ishtappedunnondu. Few claps after the show. 2nd half micka scenes-inum nalla response undaayirunnu.....
