The Great Father is doubtlessly the grand comeback of the Megastar.The film in short is a neat family drama followed by a well knitted thriller with few pinches of mass scenes to cater the Megastar fans.This one is indeed a feast for the fans and a really good watch for others.Kudos to Haneef Adeni for making a quality cinema and presenting Mammukka at his stylish best,a superb debut by all means.Mammukka as David Ninan was a treat to watch,whatever he does on screen simply elevates the movie to a whole new level.His expertise in handling emotional scenes is top-notch,there are few instances brings out the fantastic performer inside him.The term M-Swag can be used for David Ninan without any second thoughts,Haneed Adeni utilized Mammukka's terrific screen presence and charismatic looks to the fullest,each nuance of him filled with that massive style and attitude made it a complete goosebumps stuff.Arya in a prominent role puts up a fine performance,this may be one among his finest acts.Baby Anikha was good,her onscreen bonding with Mammukka was really great.Sneha was brought in without much use as she had very little to do.Supporting Cast were fine in their respective roles.

On the technical front,The Great Father is a slick and stylish product.The makers did a laudable work making this a modish flick which has got some elegant sequences.The frames were superb increasing the style quotient of this cinema,this one has got some really great shots.Editing was fine though some of the scenes in former half could have been trimmed.Music is just passable but the bgm was really effective.The fantastic tunes playing in the background did take the movie some notches above and it skillfully synced with the proceedings.Haneef Adeni in his debut venture was in full control of things as the director.His making easily proves that this guy is here to stay.The basic plot had many flaws,but Haneef's phenomenal presentation covered up all such drawbacks.The Great Father may not be an outstanding cinema,but it surely sets the stage for the Megastar's return which itself is the biggest reason to watch this one.To sum it up,The Great Father is a superb watch.
