still not sure whether City were good or Basel were not up for it... if basel were not up for it, then the 2-3 times they upset our defence still shows our vulnerability... of course, laporte and stones were on the bench and kompany was playing 90 after a long time, still better teams would have scored against us yesterday.

Looks like kompany is on the decline, against burnley he looked unsure, sadly this legend is dogged by injuries.... summer exit seems inevitable...

Liverpool could beat PSG in Champions League - Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp feels his Liverpool side could beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
PSG face Real Madrid on Wednesday night as one of the tournament favourites, while Klopp's Liverpool are at Porto for the round-of-16 first leg.
Although Klopp insists he and his players are not looking beyond their Portuguese opposition, the Reds boss says the 4-3 victory over Manchester City on Jan. 14 shows they can beat Europe's best.
"Probably the strongest team in Europe at the minute is Manchester City. We've played them twice and that's highest level," Klopp said.
"PSG is a little bit different but I don't look at them, I only know it already that if we meet them we could beat them"

    That record is now invalid.....................

A 0-5 devastating away win in the first leg... against league leaders in Portugal and a team just conceded 10 goals in 21 matches, we have them plenty in one... Porto fans seen emptying their seat into last quarter of the match (not used to being dismantled like this)....

Not a clean game but zidane was tactically good today, the 2nd half sub's literally changed the complexion of game

Asensio was vital part at the end, brilliant from the kid just like he did against bayern last year....but Marcelo MOTM for me what a beast man is.When in form this guy is everything a LB, a 10 and a striker

Have to say psg is quite overrated, yes neymar is class and carrying the entire team in his shoulder but apart from that no flair in that lineup to perform adroitly against quality sides

Bayern shows it last time when they beat psg comprehensively....Cavani went missing in big games is not strange and veratti been the most overrated midfielder of this generation whom i never seen performing on big stages either make them the most vulnerable....Had huge hopes on mbappe but the kid was completely dud today....Then some good players like di maria/pastro/draxler are no more the starters their and rest are some average players

This actually proves spending 400m on 2 players don't make you a great team
