Lot of movies rlsing together not good for industry, ana alaral and mayanadhi should have been rlsd much earlier without competing unnecessarly with these biggies, even when you consider vecation time an average mallu family will only watch Max 2 movies logically but here we didn't have anygood rls after nov17 and after wasting nearly one month 5 Malayalam movie plus eagerly anticipated two other language movies rlsing together which makes sure at least 4 will flop... Utter nonsense from producers...

2016 onam we had Oppam, Oozham, Central Jail, Kochuvaa, Muthasi Gadha, and Iru Mugan...
Result -> Oppam, Oozham, Central Jail, and Iru mugan performed well. Kochuvaa and muthasi gadha grossed over 5 CR. With rights they were also profitable..
2017 Vishu Honey Bee 2, Take Off, Great Father, Georgettan, 1971, Sakhave, and Puthen Panam...
Result -> Take Off, Great Father, Georgettan, Sakhave were profitable.. others did not do well due to quality of film..
2017 Onam Velipadu, Adam John, Njandukal, Pullikaran..
Result -> Adam & Njandukal grossed above 15 CR.. Velipadu and Pullikaran were average grosser. both did not do well due to quality of film
This time 2 other language releases are not major films. Both will only collect from main centers
