നാടെങ്ങും കൊച്ചി മെട്രോയുടെ ആവേശം അലയടിക്കുമ്പോൾ സിനിമാ പ്രേമികൾക്കും ഒരു സന്തോഷ വാർത്ത. കൊച്ചി മെട്രോയെ പശ്ചാത്തലമാക്കി സിനിമ വരുന്നു. ചിത്രത്തിൽ മെട്രോ മാനായ ഇ ശ്രീധരനായി മലയാളത്തിലെ ഒരു സൂപ്പർ താരം വേഷമിടും.
എം പത്മകുമാറും തിരക്കഥാകൃത്ത് എസ് സുരേഷ് ബാബുവും ചേർന്ന് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് അറബിക്കടലിന്റെ റാണി – ദ മെട്രോ വിമൺ എന്നാണ് പേരിട്ടിരിയ്ക്കുന്നത്. റിമകല്ലിങ്കലാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ നായിക. മെട്രോമാന്റെ കടുത്ത ആരാധികയായ പി.കെ ലളിതയെന്ന തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറക്കാരി സെയിൽസ് ഗേൾ മെട്രോമാനെ കാണാൻ നടത്തുന്ന ശ്രമങ്ങളും അതിന്റെ പരിണിത ഫലവും പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ ജീവിതവും കൊച്ചി നഗരത്തിന്റെയും കഥയുമാണ് സിനിമയാകുന്നത്.
കഥ, തിരക്കഥ, സംഭാഷണം എസ്.സുരേഷ് ബാബുവും എം.യു. പ്രദീപും ചേർന്ന് നിർവഹിക്കുന്നു. ഛായാഗ്രഹണം മധു നീലകണ്ഠൻ, എഡിറ്റിങ് വിനോദ് സുകുമാരൻ, കലാ സംവിധാനം മനുജഗത്ത്. അനൂപ് മേനോൻ, അരുൺ നാരായൺ, സന്തോഷ് കീഴാറ്റൂർ, അലൻസിയർ, ഷീലു ഏബ്രഹാം, ശ്രന്ദ എന്നിവർ മുഖ്യവേഷങ്ങളിലെത്തുന്നു. ക്രിസ്മസ് റിലീസ് ലക്ഷ്യം വയ്ക്കുന്ന ചിത്രം വി.ജി. ഫിലിംസ് ഇൻർനാഷണലാണ് നിർമിക്കുന്നത്.
