Lijo Jose Pellissery’s next is a satire set in a fishing village

Director Lijo Jose Pellissery's proved that big stars or even known faces are not required to make a critically and commercially-acclaimed film with his previous directorial Angamaly Diairies.

For his next titled Ee. Ma. Yow, the filmmaker has roped in three actors - Vinayakan, Chemban Vinod and Dileesh Pothen - to play the lead roles and will feature a set of newcomers too. The film has already begun shooting in Kochi.

Lijo tells us, "The film is a satire set in a fishing village like Chellanam, Kochi. Apart from the trio, the rest of the cast would be those from the village. It's a small movie so there's no burden of expectations."

The movie is based on the story by Lijo and screenplay by PF Mathews. Shyju Khalid will be cranking the camera.
