Mulk, Karwaan and Fanney Khan Thursday Collection: First Week Box Office Collection After 7 Days




This was the disaster week for Bollywood. Two good budget movie of 30-40 crores and one medium budget movie proved to be the disaster in their first week. Mulk and Karwaan got their ground over the weekdays but it was too late and the audience was better with consistency but never said to be good. Mulk collected 90 Lakhs on the last day of the first week which takes its total to 9.90 crores. Another release of this week was Karwaan which collected 95 lakhs on its seventh day which takes its total to approx 11 crores. It is only one movie among all three new release which crossed double digit in the first week.

There were three releases last week and none of them could do well. Fanney Khan was a disaster with collections 9.35 crore nett in week one and the film will close at 10 crore nett as it hardly has any shows in week two.


Mulk also fared poorly with collections of 11.30 crore nett in week one which is too low though the weekday business was steady at low levels. The problem for the film is that it basically has a five day second week which will limit the business of the film in week two. The film had to do more than Friday on Monday and that could have taken the film to a decent final total.
