Kunchacko Boban will head to Kuttanad again for his next
Kunchacko Boban has always been open about his love for Alappuzha — after all it's his hometown and some of his hit movies were shot there, the previous being Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum. For his upcoming project, which will be directed by Sreejith Vijayan, the actor will once again head to his favourite locale.
Cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Sreejith, who would be making his debut with the movie, tells us, "It's an all-out fun entertainer set in Kuttanad and Chackochan will be playing a rustic character in the movie. Aditi Ravi has been roped in as the heroine."
Similar to his previous release Varnyathil Aashanka, the actor will have his own motley crew in the film. "Dharmajan, Ramesh Pisharody, Innocent and Salim Kumar play his buddies and all of them have comic shades," says Sreejith, who had cranked the camera for Salim Kumar's directorial Karutha Judan.
The director's cinematography background seems to have played a major role in choosing Alappuzha as the main location for his debut. "We wanted to have a vibrant setting and what better place than the backwaters of Kerala," he says, adding that the yet-to-titled film will go on floors in November.
Kunchacko, meanwhile, is currently busy with the shooting of Sugeeth's Shikkari Shambu and has also signed Ramesh Pisharody's directorial debut, which will have Jayaram in the lead as well.
