    ithu kandirunnu. kidukkan entertainer.
and it's not all-out masala either. smart writing and interesting build-ups and action set-pieces.
it was refreshing to watch a no-apologies action flick after long -- delivers exactly what it promised.
    Be kind, rewind.

Was surprised by Tiger's performance, did not expect him to be so good. But the credit goes to Siddharth Anand, the casting was a pure masterstroke. When you rewind and analyse, many pieces do not seem to fit. But was completely engaged while watching the film. Probably that matters more. I have always found HR to be a good actor. Loved him in Kaabil and Super 30. Would like to see him in such challenging roles too. But this was a cakewalk which had the fans swooning after a really long time.

i think it was BR who said, about War, that hrithik has matured and is understated as an actor. toned down his tendency to go all quivering and strange-voiced in emotional scenes. Tiger was good yeah.
it was probably planned as an Assassins kind of master vs protege film. and the casting was perfect.
    Be kind, rewind.
