He's immensely talented, but doesn't observe, isn't thoughtful and can't transform into a character. If he tried very hard, may be he can do it atleast to an extent. Thoovanathumbikal was one of the rare movies from him where he transformed from Mohanlal to the character Jayakrishnan to an extent.

that said oru vesham oru actor cheythu kanda shesham vere oru actore ah roleil sankalpikan paadu annu ......they could of course give a different spin but you kinda still feel that the actor who eventually did the film was the most apt
