Default Pooja Talks: Villain (1/5) An Emotional Holocaust On Viewer

If an iceberg was the reason for the great Titanic mishap, here the captain of the ship, Mr. Unnikrishnan Spielberg is the one and only reason for Villain to become a disastrous atrocity on viewer. The "gone mad" director has no clue of what he is doing with this dense and poorly written screenplay (pardon my language, he deserves this). Dear director, you seem to be someone who has no ideas of your own and your works seems to be inspired (copied) of other movies, and the funny part is that most directors get inspired of other language movies, but this director is inspired (copied) of movies from his own language (not mentioning any, will become spoiler). "The Complete Actor (god knows)" Mohanlal seems to be in a competition with Mammootty on deciding who is more brilliant in choosing idiotic scripts, bravo Mohanlal you won the competition with a single film. The title Villain is not apt for this movie, "Manjooran The Great" or "Manjooran with the 7th sense" would be more apt because he is solving the case without investigating but with some guess works, hail "Manjooran the Great." The background score of the film was nice, blended with this tightly packed sleeping pill. Songs were okayish. Performance of the lead casts were good, and Mohanlal did justice to his role, or rather a good performance of him after years. To conclude, Villain is a good clay that went to the wrong potter, or someone who doesn't know how to mould the clay and make something appealing to the viewers.

    Rating: 1/5
    Verdict: Avoidable
