olakka..u spoiled my weekend afternoon!
Theatre - pvr lulu mall
status - housefull
story: starts off were the first part ended, Joy thakkolkaran faces a lot of failure when it comes to his prior business and personal life, he decides to leave politics as well. He decides to jump start his life again by introducing another product - punyalan vellam and how he gets entangled in the political landscape and decides to fight against the systems and speak for the common man is the crux of the story.
performances -
Jayasurya - the mass appeal he brings in this film is something else. truly a phenomenal actor with alot of charisma on screen that really resonates with common folks. he rocked as joy thakkolkaran to a point where honestly can't imagine anyone else in this role
Vijayaraghavan - as CM is another great performance and he does great
Sreejith Ravi - is okay, but does slightly over do his performance as this character
Sunil Sukhada - seemed funnier than the last time he appeared as the character
rest all did their roles well..
one of the best comedy entertainers of this year.. The movie really is a political satire and succeeds with everything it was meant to convey. Personally felt this one was much BETTER than the first part.
1st half was a bit slow at first but picked up pace and had a lot of entertaining moments and comedies
2nd half is were the film becomes really great.. unlike ranjith shankars previous films this one has nicely packed 1st half and 2nd half.. the film doesn't disappoint one bit and is a treat for moviegoers and normal common men who view our system and society in the same light as the lead protagonist Joy Thakkolkaran.
rating: 4/5
overall - a good film that entertains and educates
DEFINITELY WORTH A WATCH and I would even go to say it is a must watch film in the theatres that is released this year for sure!
