From the announcement there is one thing the makers of this film has consistently told. This is a Mass Film. A film for fans to celebrate. That is the expectation which all of us had. Now did the movie live up to that expectation ? Yes. To the very word of it. It is an Out and Out Mass movie for Megastar fans to celebrate. Nothing more nothing less.


The title credits was innovative. It went through the main campuses of Kerala and in each campus showing pictures of famous personalities from those colleges. That was very neatly done. First Half starts of with the rivalry between two gangs in the college, girl coming in between the same, getting killed and then her lover committing suicide. All these incidents take up around 45 mins or so of the first half. So after 40 mins or so theatre crowd became little restless since Megastar was yet to seen. Then comes the Maharaja Entry. Theatre was literally shaken. From then on film shifts to another gear. It is Mass throughout. Even the classroom scenes are mass. When Professor Eddy tells something and beats on the desk the impact is felt in viewer's chest. That much punch is there in the dialogue rendering. And then the Interval fight and Interval Punch. Fans will be out of their seats. TERROR Interval.


Second Half focus on how Prof Eddy tries to protect his students, his dual with the Police and then the investigation to unravel the mystery behind the murder and suicide. I felt things are little drawn out longer during this half. But nothing to say bad. Went decent with a decent suspense unravelling in the climax. And then the final twist in the climax, Oh! Man... That was just awesome. Compensates for the little drag that was felt in the 2nd Half.


Positives
MegaStar - What a Screen Presence, even at this age. And the dialogue rendering during Mass Scenes. Just Awesome. The film really rests upon safely in his shoulders.
Unni Mukundan - Again awesome in his Action Avatar.
Ajay Vasudev - Superb making. One of the few directors now to make Mass movies in Malayalam.
Udayakrishna - Apt script for a Mass movie.


Negatives
Absolutely no scenes to attract families. No family sentiments, no comedy for families nothing to attract family audience.


Overall Summary - Adrenaline Rush for Fans and Above Average for Others.


Crowd Response - Havey response throughout the movie except for some parts in the 2nd Half.
Rating - 4/5 for Fans, 3/5 for Families.
