'SARKAR' STORMS SOUTH INDIA WITH FOURTH HIGHEST PRE BUSINESS EVER

Worldwide theatrical rights for Kollywood?s most anticipated Sarkar is sold to Thenandal Studios Limited for a whopping ₹99 Crore . It is Expected that Thenandal Studios will hold Tamilnadu theatrical rights and will sell remaining areas for big deals. When all regional level business is done, Theatrical rights for Sarkar might end up in the range of ₹110-₹115 Crore based up on those individual territorial bids.

On the other hand Sarkar is doing wonders in non-theatrical business as well. As Sun Network is already the numero uno in the regional broadcast, it will retain the Tamil satellite & Digital rights with them. A revenue of ₹28-30 Crore is expected from Tamil Satellite & digital business for Sun Network going by Vijay?s previous movies.

Coming to Hindi Satellite dubbing rights producers already have offers for ₹20-25 Crore from the market leaders and Telugu Satellite rights are expected to bring in another ₹3 Crore for the producers.

About Music rights at least ₹3 Crore is expected as AR Rahman is on board. The AR Rahman and Vijay duo which recently created some sensational records on digital platform with their latest audio is an added advantage.

Thus the overall Non Theatrical rights are expected around ₹55-60 Crore through satellite, digital and audio for Sarkar .

To sum it up Sun Pictures is hitting bulls-eye with Sarkar where they will fetch the fourth best pre-release revenue for a South movie after Baahubali series and Kabali

Exploding out of the gates, Paramount's Mission: Impossible - Fallout took in
$6 million during Thursday previews in ~3,300 theaters. The result is $2 million ahead of the $4 million Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation brought in ahead of a $55.5 million opening and ahead of the $4.23 million in previews for Jason Bourne ahead of a $59.2 million opening in July 2016. All good signs as the film attempts to not only deliver the franchise's largest opening, but the largest opening for Tom Cruise as well.

Online ticket retailer Fandango.com reports Fallout is not only outpacing all previous Mission films at the same point in the sales cycle, but also Jason Bourne , which debuted with $59.2 million in 2016 and we're seeing similar results when looking at IMDb page view data.

Fallout is outpacing Jason Bourne when looking at IMDb page view data over the two weeks leading up to release. It's also pacing ahead of Fox's 2013 release of The Wolverine ($53.1m opening), Star Trek Beyond ($59.25m opening) and Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation ($55.5m opening).

While Paramount suggests they are looking for an opening in the $50 million range, the trends we're looking at clearly suggest a debut much higher than that, to the point we're expecting a debut topping Mission: Impossible II 's franchise-best, $57.8 million opening back in 2000. Our weekend forecast is for a debut at or above $65 million , but we wouldn't be surprised to see it climb even higher, if not managing to near $75 million. Should the film top $65.5 million we'd be looking at the largest opening for a Paramount title since
Transformers: Age of Extinction debuted with $100 million back in June 2014. On top of that, anything over the $64.8 million War of the Worlds opened with in 2005 would make for the largest opening ever for Tom Cruise

    DHADAK

Dhadak did decent business in week two grossing 17.25 crore nett which is a drop of 66% from the first week. The total of the film is 68.50 crore nett and it has another twelve days or so to add business till Gold and Satyamev Jayate release.

There are chances of hitting 75 crore nett though it is probably the maz amount the film can do and a lot will depend on the hold on the third Friday. In circuits like CP Berar and Nizam ? Andhra it is the best scorer of the year outside the big four big grossers of the year Sanju, Pad,maavat, Race 3 and Baaghi 2.

The collections of Dhadak till date are as follows :

    Week One - 51,31,00,000 apprx
    Week Two - 17,25,00,000 apprx

    TOTAL - 68,56,00,000 apprx
