    Seema Raja :

With*Seema Raja, Sivakarthikeyan*has entered the unchartered territory, which till now, was just reserved for*Thala*trio of*Thala Nadu, errr Tamil Nadu and of course the mighty*Baahubali. The film blasted off with*₹10.30 crore*on Thursday, scoring the highest opening numbers for the actor, you can read more about that just right*here, and thirteenth highest ever in Tamil Nadu.

Following are the top fifteen opening days in Tamil Nadu.

    *

    Mersal*- ₹23.76 crore

    Kabali*- ₹19.12 crore

    Vivegam*- ₹16.07 crore

    Vedalam*- ₹14.60 crore

    Theri*- ₹14.10 crore

    Kaala*- ₹13.38 crore

    Bairavaa*- ₹12.55 crore

    Kaththi*- ₹12.50 crore

    Baahubali: The Conclusion*- 12.04 crore

    Lingaa*- ₹11.55 crore

    Endhiran*- ₹11.10 crore

    Puli - ₹11.04 crore

    Seema Raja*- ₹10.30 crore

    Anjaan - ₹9.83 Crore

    Yennai Arindhaal - ₹9.76 Crore

Only thirteen films have crossed the*₹10 crore*mark so far, with just one going above*₹20 crore.*That simply tells the difference between the top three and the rest of them.*Suriya*almost made it in 2014, in fact would had been just second if he had pulled it, but since then actor is in reverse gear. With*Sivakarthikeyan*making huge inroads with his every next, the pressure builds on the*Anjaan*actor.

Levying of GST and increased ticket price ceiling later last year, has lifted the state capacity, so*₹10 crore*isn?t perhaps that big a deal and we might see a big lump at year end when*Sarkar*and*2.0*releases, as they will be targeting*₹25 crore, may be*₹30 crore
