EXCELLENT DAY 3 FOR PATHAAN


Pathaan juggernaut conitunes on Friday as the film sustains superbly post the big holiday as collections could come out in the 35 crore nett range and with clear momentum in mass circuits it would be no suprise if the number comes out higher by the evening. If the the film had gone to 28-30 crore nett that itself would have been a fantastic hold and here it is far better setting itself up for huge numbers on Saturday and Sunday.


The film in real terms held far more importance for the studio Yash Raj Films with a huge film on the floors and many in the pipeline and a below performance here would have put all the pipeline films in danger of being scrapped or delayed but with the BLOCKBUSTER succes of Pathaan the prevailing fear would have turned into huge confidence.

According to trends, movie is looking to collect in the range of Rs 53 to 56 cr (All Versions - Hindi: 51.50 to 53.50 cr) on it's fourth day, taking total to Rs 221 crore (Hindi: 213 cr).


**Pathaan targets 5-day weekend of Rs 275 crore


Pathaan is doing unimaginable business in the single screens, which is resulting in big footfalls and also bringing down the average ticket price of the film. Given the trends so far, the five-day extended weekend of Pathaan will be at a record shattering total in the range of Rs 275 crore and it’s just a matter of time before it enters the 300-crore club. Pathaan is sure to emerge an All-Time Grosser by topping Dangal, and it is also looking like the film which could finally break the Hindi nett of Bahubali 2 (Rs 510 crore). Shah Rukh Khan has returned after 4 years and it seems that every major record in the Hindi belts will be under his name by the time Pathaan ends it box office run.

PATHAAN DAY 5 :

Pathaan is on a rampage at the box office on Sunday as it breaks its own insane box office records which it set on Thursday (Republic Day). It is pure carnage at B and C centres be it single screens or multiplexes. The metros and some of the other bigger centres are likely to slow in evening and night shows so will not reach the numbers of Thursday but still are collecting in huge numbers and better than day one and Saturday.

The collections of the film could hit the 65 crore nett mark but a lot depends on the where the night shows come out but it is pretty much a 275 crore nett weekend in Hindi and there will be 8-9 crore nett from regional versions. The unthinkable has happened as 275 crore nett lifetime has been an unreachable target since War in 2019 for original content
