Decided to see the movie after seeing lot of great reviews. Biopic of Sathyan who is actually a forgotten hero of Kerala and Indian Football.


The movie is not an entertainer as expected. It is a plain portrayal of like of Sathyan and his family circling around him. I think the movie has done justice to the life of Sathyan without adding any gimmicks to make it more entertaining or more appealing to viewers. It has just brought in front of us what Sathyan was, what the game of football was to him and his relationship with his wife.


The most noteable aspect is the performance from lead case - Jayasuria and Anu Sithara. Both were just awesome. Jayasurya is in a constant improvement path. He has taken his performance to a different level in this movie. Anu Sithara again is just awesome.


There is nothing much to tell as a story. It is basically the life of Sathyan the footballer the pain which followed throughout his life and the success he brought for our country in spite of all odds. A true hero indeed.


The Background music, direction, script all parts of the movie is excellent. In short one of the best movies we have seen in Malayalam recently.


Mega Star in one scene evoke huge response in the theatre. Not sure whether that is an actual episode of Sathyan's life. If it is a salute to our Mega Star too.


Positives
Script and Direction - Just awesome.
Jayasurya and Anu Sithara - Outstanding. Both deserve accolades for there outstanding performance.
Last but not the least - Sathyan the Hero who brought wins for Kerala and India against all odds.


Negatives
No entertainment compromises to appeal to a wider audience.


Overall Summary - One of the best movies of recent times and one of the best biopic in our industry.


Crowd Response - People were just too emotionally involved in the movie. Claps in the end.
