Plot:

Poomaram as a movie takes you to the heart of MGU Youthfestival. It features almost a realistic take on almost all happenings around mgu fest centered around the famous rivalry between St Teresa's and Maharajas.

My take:
The maker have succeed in taking me to mgu fest. It was as if i am having a first hand experience of the event. It also took me to my college life, art fest and mgu fest.
On cinematic part the dramatisation I felt at the beginning ( during the father son scenes ) gradually withered out. The maker have succeed in having a realistic take.

Performance of all characters was good. Non had any special importance. Kalidas as the union chairman of maharajas did justification to his party. St. Teresa's team, expecially their chairman need a special mention for their efforts. Their perfomance made me root for their team.

On negative part Climax was unrealistic and felt forced upon


Overall poomaram succeed in its mission, Taking me to MGU Youthfest. So for my experience I will give it an overall Good rating

On Renovated RamRaj
One of best theatre I have gone to. The sony projection 4k was a treat to watch. The atmos was perfectly synchronised and bass was at its sweet level. Finally we have an excellent theatre.
