It seems Asianet is also facing issues in finding good source for restoration. Avarkk pattunna films okke HD channel inu vendi nanakkiyittund . But still their post 2000 movie collectionil nalla oru pankum HD channelil telecast cheyyan pattiyitilla.. Try to have a deal with Asianet too.
Blu ray release financially oru nalla option aayi thonunilla. I am a great fan of watching old restored movies but I don't own a blu ray player yet.
But do have Amazon and Netflix subscription and also English and Hindi HD channels is telecasting old restored movies. Using Amazon fire stick to stream to TV as well.
Similarly most people is switching to streaming. So I suggest you and saina can think about a digital release through existing digital platforms. A new streaming website is also not a good option unless you have a huge collection.

But it's sad to hear the availability of negatives.

bro we are doing restorations only . We had a plan earlier that is to buy rights , restore and release Blu-rays. That won't happen anymore. Currently we are working for saina and regarding which title to restore and what platform it should be made available is their decision.
Getting prints from NFAI is not a simple task.
