I did some background checks on Manichithrathazhu Blu-ray as a 25 years anniversary.. It wasn?t possible without the remastered print from AsianetNews which won?t be cheap.
I wasn?t impressed with Saina dvd they released recently with video quality, Appreciated his intention though..
I am in if we can get those good old movies in full HD or 4K.

Just got a information about 80s film prints.
A lot of 80s and 90s films in 16mm film is available at Thrissur.The films is made of polyester so it won't decompse like ordinary films.Only problem is,it is in 16mm which is 35mm movie transferred to a 16mm film.So we won't get a true 4K quality with a 4K scan but we will get a decent 1080P quality.Don't know which films are available at Thrissur. Will update once I get information about film names.
Also Baasha 35mm polyester print is available at Kozhikode distribution office and some old 35mm malayalam films(don't know names or condition) available at Kottayam distribution office godown....
