Coming from a filmmaker like Shoojit Sircar,expectations were reasonably high for this one.Starring Varun Dhawan and debutante Banita Sandu in lead roles,October is a refreshingly heartwarming experience.Varun Dhawan as the naive and compassionate Dany puts in his finest performance,haven't seen him performing with such intense conviction.Geetanjali Rao is the other great performer,while Banita Sandu plays her part with perfection.On the whole,with towering performances and absorbing moments,October is truly an indelible cinema.

While a notable share of the so called horror thrillers are nothing more than trifling jump-scares, A Quite Place with its novel premise and absolutely gripping narrative turns out be a befitting cinema in the horror genre.The basic concept is simple,the use of sound is very minimal,and there are no visual gimmicks,however the brilliant execution and great performances excels it to soaring heights.Literally,A Quiet Place is the most intense and compelling thriller in recent times.
