Liverpool’s final points total of 97 would have won the PL in 25 of the 27 seasons since the competition started.
The only totals higher have been by Man City in the last 2 seasons (100 last season & 98 this season)
Congratulations to Man City...14 wins in a row...don't think any team has done that before...deserved champions.....

thank you liverpool for bringing the best out of manchester city...
the consistent performance of the scousers forced us give it our best...
last season we were 100 point winners with a 19 point lead...
this season, despite losing debruyne and others to injuries for major chunks of the season, we fought till the end...
defeating liverpool at etihad was the turning point... had we lost could have been 10 points behind, won and ended up 1 point in front...
no team has won back-2-back in 10 years, so was not sure about this season at the start...
another record awaiting, no english team has won the domestic treble yet...
champions of england... a 100 followed by a 98...
