Lilly- a survival violent story never before seen in Malayalam cinema

Watched Lilly from Kannur Saagara.

Brief Synopsis - a 9 month pregnant Lilly gets kidnapped by three people who are in search of a little girl and how she gets out of this predicament.

Malayalam cinemayil nammal kandittulla one of the most violent movie ennulla tag Lilly'kku kodukkam. And definitely the first time a heroine gets to do such violent scenes.

A movie which shows the pure animalistic survival instincts of a girl to get out of the horrible circumstances which she is put in.

Story onnum kooduthal parayunilla.

Kudos to Samyuktha for choosing such a story as a her first movie ( though theevandi was released earlier). She proves her acting chops in a role purely written around her

All the other actors including her husband and the three kidnappers have provided a natural performance.

Although majority of the viewers may not be able to stomach the violent scenes, the scenes are very relevant to the movie.

And the suprising factor is that story is to be continued, cue a second part to this movie.

All in all a worthwhile movie experience if you are able to withhold the violent scenes.

My rating - 3.5/5

PS I am not writing much about the director and others behind this movie since I am not familiar with them.

I started following FK from the past one year and it turned out to be a very relevant and authentic movie info section ( apart from fan fights ofcourse 😁).
