Mikhael - An Above Average Flick

I was eagerly waiting for 'Mikhael' from the time I heard that Haneef Adeniwas uniting with Nivin Pauly as I liked Haneef's last two outings, 'The Great Father' (Direction & script) and 'Abrahaminte Santhathikal (Script). However, high expectations became low expectations, thanks to negative reviews all around.

'Mikhael' is an above average revenge movie. Even though it's a revenge movie, it has its share of fun elements too. Background music is the backbone of the movie.

Nivin Pauly had done a good job with his dialogue delivery and fight scenes. He could have made a better impact had he shed some more body weight though.
Siddique once again delivered a powerful performance.

Unni Mukundan deserves a special mention as he excelled albeit featuring in less number of scenes.

Navani Devanand (Nivin's sister in the movie), Suraj Venjarammoodu and J D Chakravarthy all did their part well too.

'Mikhael' is not as good as 'The Great Father' and 'Abhrahaminte Santhathikal' yet it has elements to make you glue to your seats in theatres.
