Prakashan Review -- Excellent for Families

Plot:-
Prakashan has got highest desperation to everything related to him - whether it be his name, qualification or place and tries for various shortcuts to become rich easily. How he goes behind the same is the main plot and the hurdles in achieving the same!! This is taken in very realistic way!! Unlike the other recent Sathyan films, we had a good first half and equally good or even better second half!! Its real life incidents filled with the feel good factor touch that driven the film throughout!!

Positives:-

• & Fahad -- He simply nailed it!!! What a performance...Whether its the comedy sequences, or the serious plots he simply controlled the same to utmost perfection..Even in the areas where the comedy goes weird (like the continuous comedy sequence in which the leading lady does not have any poetic sense), his mannerism simply takes us through. This is the major asset of the film. He seems to have reduced weight to look perfect for the role. Undoubtedly best in Malayalam films after big Ms for me!!!
• Real time Comedies that is blended with the script - Majority worked well and received fabulous response from family
• Family factor
• Engaging script
• Devika Sanjay as 10th std girl -- Even though newcomer, she performed really well.
• Sreenivasan in the second half
• Other supporting cast than the lead actresses
• Songs -- All songs blend with the situation - Bengali song is too good!!
• Cinematography and Direction

Negatives:-

• Lead actresses (Nikhila Vimal & Anju Kurien)- 2 of them provided very mediocre performance. At many places I felt bit artificiality. Fahad's fabulous performance however covered that up !!
• Sreenivasan in first half -- Highly artificial at many instances. An eg is the sequence in which he enters his own house for taking the necklace from wife. Did not work at all - He had overacted at many areas and artificial in many other.
  
• Some may feel bit similarity with other Satyan movies

Response:-
Had claps for all comedy scenes and at the end!!! Family really enjoyed the same. We went with 8 members and all liked it very much!!
