Certain things do not change with time even when Kerala changes a lot Malayali does not change nor do Sathyan films. Sthiram kaanikkunna pole 'not so perfect' protagonist and what all changes certain incidents bring in his life.

We have seen very human not so perfect protagonists till now in Sathyan movies - A man greedy for dowry, irresponsible youngster, spendthrift wife who ultimately leads to her henpecked husband being a bankrupt.

The female characters who appear after the interval have given good performances specially the teenager girl and her mother

Positives:- Good screenplay, top notch performances by Fahad, Sreenivasan, KPAC Lalitha and even some lesser knows faces,

Negatives:- Same old tried out theme which Sathyan himself has attempted below and exaggerated situations in certain scenes. But the direction and screenplay makes up for it

Ultimately we all want to forget all our tensions and have good entertainment which this movie gives
