Wanted to see morning show, but then decided to go for evening show since family also wanted to join. So booked for 6:45pm show. Reached the theater. Was little surprised to see the booking for a movie which has been advertised as a class award kind of movie. Movie story is inline with the expectations built by viewers based on the teasers and posters. Only probable difference would be that rather than making it a melodrama, Ram has made it to a movie to be experienced as a cool breeze with some rains in between.... Movie is broken it down to 12 chapters each depicting different mood of nature.

Movie primarily focuses on the relationship between Father and his differently abled daughter. It deals with different stages of growth of this child and the challenges her father faces during different stages of her growth. Usually in movies based on such themes, makers try to avoid such aspects of growth or just give very minor space for such aspects. Here Ram does not shy away from handling all those real problems faced by such kids and parents of such kids.

Movie is actually a journey of life of a Father and Differently Abled Daughter during the time when Daughter movies through her adolescence and teenage. Challenges faced by both of them during this period of life and the way some other characters influence them during this journey.

All in all - As a fan I would like to say "Come and Celebrate India's Finest Actor On Screen", but then that would be an injustice to other actors. I would say "Come and Celebrate finest performances Indian Cinema has seen in recent times".....

    Positives
The theme and the boldness in which different aspects have been dealt with, without much compromises.
Performances - All actors. Mam is terrific in some scenes. Ram just keeps the camera straight at his face and close up and keeps it steady there for minutes. Excellent.
Camera - First Half Kodaikanal shots are excellent.

    Negatives
2nd Half mainly deals with a theme which might not appeal to smaller kids. But it would be well appreciated by grown up kids and Adults. Cannot really term it as a negative, but that is something which could keep some younger families away from the movie.

Overall Summary - Come and celebrate the finest performances Indian Cinema has seen in recent time. An excellent MUST WATCH movie for all with Family. Will be a movie which will be remembered for long.

    Crowd Response
Heavy. I have never seen so much claps for a class movie. Through out the first half in different scenes there were heavy claps. And none of those scenes were Mass scenes. But people were just enjoying those situations. Heavy Claps at climax too.
