Plot: Mix of wars between political, crime and gangs. Its a bit slow paced but stylish narration - going similar to the mood of Godfather movie...It has all the elements of a class-mass mixture!!!

Analogy: PM Indira Gandhi passed away all on a sudden...Different groups wanted the power..some hidden interests wants Rajeev Gandhi to be next PM thinking he is western and they could control all in Congress. Mr. Gandhi comes and deliveres punch line in Hindi taking all under him...Final lines, "let me introduce my living together partner abroad, Ms Sonia"

Positives:

• Mohanlal -- Highly controlled acting with nice mannerisms.. Seeing him like this after a long time..
• Tovino -- Though there are only few scenes, he did excellent - especially in the speech scene
• Manju Warrior -- Highly controlled acting this time. Seeing this good first time after her come back!!
• All the supporting cast did commendable role
• Prithvi direction -- Did extremely well up to last 20 minutes....he did not allow the whole mood of the film to go off..
• Murali Gopi Script -- All character's except prithvi's is well written and has the depth that is needed
• Sujith Cinematography -- its top notch...there are many varieties that are tried out which are exceptional

Just OK:

• Vivek Oberoi -- Gone with the flow of the film...but I felt it should have been better

Negatives:

• Last 20 minutes of the film -- Prithvi underestimated malayalam audience here and gone for usual mass masala which are cliched to the core...Item song is too horrible...
• Prithviraj Character -- Given unneccessary screen presence...could have avoided
• Antony Perumbavoor -- How come all these films accommodate him just to salute / proclaim hero...Desp!!!
• BGM -- Too too noisy

Verdict:-

• It could have been a class experience if some more thought was given on 20 minutes - Still watchable in its original form!!!

Rating:- 3/5
