Of course didn't feel at all disappointed of losing the shield after seeing the tempo of our game and chances created.. Last season if it was millimeters that saved City for title, this time it was centimeters, wood and legs. Big bang to the season curtain raiser. Though had doubts seeing pre-season results, but all were for nothing after seeing the terrific second half...

    Good job Reds...

So he is human after all! Virgil van Dijk dribbled past for the first time in 65 GAMES as Gabriel Jesus gets the better of Liverpool star in Community Shield

65 - During the Community Shield final, Virgil van Dijk was dribbled past for the first time in his last 65 competitive appearances (by Gabriel Jesus) for @LFC since Mikel Merino did so for Newcastle in March 2018. Human. #CommunityShield

    1. City
    2. Spurs/Liverpool
    3. Liverpool/Spurs
    4. 4senal
    5. Chelsea/United
    6. United/Chelsea

As for united, with this squad a 5th or 6th place is what could be expected at max! Anything lower might get the sack!! Ole would be massively overachieving if he gets into 4th or even 5th!!

Teams like Spurs and ARS have strengthened and have probably better coaches which is a worry! The fight from teams like everton, wolves, Leicester and WHU shouldn't be underestimated! It is of paramount importance to start well coz our team does have confidence issues!

United at the end of season could be around 5th-10th spot
