Manchester City kicked off with a 3-0 win over Arsenal on Wednesday, before Jurgen Klopp's side had to settle for a point in Sunday's goalless Merseyside derby.
Liverpool still need five points to secure the title.
And what if City drop points on Monday Night l? That would mean Liverpool, who are 23 points clear in the Premier League table, could still win the title against Palace.
But if City beat Burnley on Monday, and Liverpool follow suit at home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday - the title race could still be ended this week if Chelsea can get anything at the Etihad when they face Pep Guardiola's side on Thursday night.
But if both teams take maximum points from those games, we're in for a head-to-head showdown when Liverpool travel to Manchester City on Thursday
