Oolu A must watch for lovers of class cinema

A beautiful love saga between which has painter Vasu Panicker by Shane Nigam playing the central character and his relation with a friendly spirit played by Maya(Esther). There are different shades to the story:-

1) Beliefs and myths surrounding an island where people believe are haunted by ghosts and spirits
2) Current social issue regarding molestation and killing of teenage girls
3) Buddhist and Hindu myths and their disagreements
4) Social life in Mumbai where everything is about money and lust rather than art
5) Intense love story between the protagonist and the friendly spirit

Cinematography by MJ Radhakrishnan deserves special mention . Never in any recent movie have I seen such beautiful frames which have been captured so well specially the island , underwater sequences and Mumbai skyline so perfectly.


P.S:- This movie will not be a success commercially but it is a must watch for everyone who will love aesthetic cinema
