Mamangam Review - From a Mammooty and Mohanlal loving fan

Saw the movie FDFS

The movie starts with a backstory narrated by Director Renjith. Njan okke just perinu mathram kettitulla oru history'ye introduce cheythu cinema thudangunnu....

First half has ample scenes for hardcore Mammooty fan. Also the story moves in a structural way which shows the strength of the script. Class'm mass'm oru pole ishtapedunnavare theerchayayum satisfy cheyunna oru template.

Mammooty's both intro was superb in the movie.

Second half is where i felt a lag issue...that is due to the length of the conversations between the main actors ..Aa kaalathinte aayittulla dialogue'sm aa oru delivery style'm Kure neram kandondu irikumbol oru cheriya lag feel cheyyum...

The climax moves in a suprising direction (atleast for me ). Sherikumulla history angane aayathu kondanu ... The movie ends with a montage of the actual locations where this history has taken place

Production value is top notch. Budget okke nalla pole utilize cheythittundu....Set okke ittekunnathu oru Bahubali feel okke tharum...

Overall Mamootty has delivered his role to perfection...aa feminine character was superb. Brilliantly done.

Pinne eduthu parayendathu aa payyante role aanu...kidukki ...his fight scenes were all superb...Unni mukundan has excellent screen presence in this movie. Siddique as usual does justice to his role.

Nayika Prachi kollam..she looks very graceful...aa costume'l okke looks beautiful..

Fight scenes okke ichare over aanennu thonnumenkilum avaru athu udheshichu thanne eduthanennu manasilakum..so view that in that sense...

Overall a very good movie with both class and mass elements mixed together...
