Default Shylock - Mammooty is the Boss

Watched the movie today from Abu Dhabi first day night show with a full house

Oru mass masala entertainer il ninnum enthano pratheekshikkunnathu athinte ethrayo madangu better product kittiya pratheethi aayirunnu shylock kandappol thonniyathu

Watching Mammootty on the screen and realising that he is doing all this at the age of 69 gives you another level of goosebumps that makes you jump out of your seats and enjoy them all in full swing.

Shylock once again showed that when the man is in form, he doesn't need a single other thing on the movie to go right except for him and him alone. Ikka, we can't thank you enough for this one. Mammootty looked excellent with the refreshing getup, well written dialogues which were delivered to perfection and over the top action scenes that would blow even the harshest critics expectations

The script and direction were well paced with not a single moment of lag or getting stuck in the middle of the movie. Have seen a lot of people criticize the lack of freshness in the story line (come on bro ) but it's fair to say that those are intentional degrading by those who conveniently ignored the freshness in performances and stuck on to insisting that a run of the mill cliched mass masala entertainer should also need an Oscar winning script

Second half of the movie has the right amount of emotional and family content but the director made sure that the movie did not get trapped into becoming yet another case of a distracted second half as he brought back the original freshness well before the end.

Rating okke ittu time kalayunnilla... Movie ended with huge round of applause and whistles.

Verdict: Fan boy director got it all right. Blockbuster+ on cards

In terms of supporting cast, hareesh kanaran scored the best with his well timed comedies
