Due the unprecedented circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Kappela had to be withdrawn from the theatres after a successful run of 5 days with tremendous reviews and accolades. We were hoping for a theatrical re-release once the lockdown restrictions have been eased. Since there is still an uncertainty prevailing on the extension of the lockdown and opening of the theatres, Kappela shall be re-released online through Netflix in over 190 countries. It is our immense honour to be provided an opportunity for an online release through a portal like Netflix. Hope the love and support that we had received in the theatres continue even online.

Kappela (2020)
Kappela could have been easily a preachy film, but it isn't. There is hardly any spoon feeding here and what you get is an impactful cinema powered by solid performances and craft filled making. The movie has a terrific backtracking quality, and the smartness in the writing here is that you will be comprehending it in a particular way while watching the movie and you can reread it in a completely different way after watching the movie.
All in all, Kappela is a great example of how to make a message oriented film !
