i think it was the loss to spurs that made the difference to pep... not because the loss was against spurs but because it was against mourinho.. that too, right after drawing aganst liverpool in a match that could have been won by city if not for the penalty miss.... the debruyne injury forced pep to push gundogan front and bring cancelo out of the full-back position...

There are (rival) fans, some sections of media complaining about how city turning the league to a boring one with their domination and mainly due to the huge money their owner possess. There is a bigger picture, city were not in top 10 after ten rounds, they made some tactical tweaks, and the results are there. Most of the top 6 can win against other 18 or 15 teams because they too have spend more money and have better squad than their poorer rivals. But still they are unable to overcome that because city spend more and that is affecting their performance when they are playing against other teams too.

klopp is really setting up some high standards in anfield... it will be tough for his successor to emulate these standards...
