Fahad has amassed huge fan following during the lock down time via OTT... He has also managed to create a cult feeling about his acting too (although I personally don't think he is an excellent actor)... Whereas nivin was completely absent from an average Malayalee's sight and mind.... The only image he presented was probably a suddenly fat and non attractive person who people thought was way different from the nivin they knew and a insanely different character like moothon and a good but difficult to relate character and treatment in KKK.... Fahad has the additional huge advantage and boost of pushpa and vikram too....

There's no wonder why audience will prefer fahad over nivin even if nivin comes with thuramukham.... N this mahaveeryar looks highly experimental to an average person....

Absolutely.. People wont prefer nivin movies anymore.. Too much experimental offbeat semi offbeat non entertaining movies he select last several years almost destroyed his career.. He dont even care for a fit body which an actor really need... What a fall for nivin once a favourite of families with his light humour roles and was near super Star level crowd puller.. If he didnt make a fit body and select entertaining movies he will be soon out of malayalam movies..in interviews he looks non confident and feel like he is out of touch😜

Yeah too much experimental stuff... But I don't think he is purposely not maintaining his body... As many are saying maybe there is genuine thyroid issues ... He comes across as a person who plans all his future movies and wants to make much business too out of his stardom and as a producer.... So I don't think he will purposely sabotage his chance to become super star or audience favorite... We all saw how LAD did great business despite being mediocre...

We cannot blame nepotism when he/his health is responsible for the situation he is in. He was on his way to superstardom and there were no hinderances at all. But if star kids are working hard for what they had to achieve then how are they to be blamed. PR had a tough time shooting simultaneously for three films _Jana Gana Mana , Kaduva and Aadujeevitham abroad during covid time and he managed it so well with his hardwork. Similarly DQ promoted Kurup everywhere all over india and in turn it benefited the movie.
