This is insider gossips (multiple reports with conflicting news)
Short story - viki didn't turn up with a proper script at the right time even after taking enough time.
1) As per valaipechu, the producer, AK and vikky had a meeting.. He got fired left and right by AK and producer.
Including a video conference with Nayans (she requested AK to consider this project).
But AK outright rejected.
2) Another conflicting report is that he now wants a movie that is on a bigger scale fantasy movie of over 200cr-400 cr budget (on a pan level like bahubali)
3) AK and Vishnuvardhan are in discussion.. (Strangely atlee's name is also on the paper-highly unlikely)
4) AK and vikky are still in discussion for another script (same producer)
Anyone of this is true????? Who knows....only time will tell
Also talks from behind the scenes is that, AK is not happy with how varisu team promoted their movie ,specifically dil raju's repeated interviews talks on how Vijay is now no 1 and all.................
AK is now fully focused to get back in delivering quality projects after his current tour. So mediocre/usual age old masala scripts are probably going to get rejected....
