CBI 5: The Brain (2022)

Slow. Generic. Predictable.

CBI 5 is a movie that thinks it's pretty smart but is really too dumb to hold together beyond its first few minutes. What makes this film passable is Mammootty. He knows how to interrogate a potential suspect and make it seem as if he had been doing it his whole life.

Though somewhat marginally more engaging that its predecessor, CBI 5 falls into many of the same pitfalls, offering too many pat solutions and contriving too many shallow plot twists.

Average :/

PS: If the film turns out be a commercial success, it's simply because of the franchise's goodwill.

Brother, this is my opinion, my thoughts, MY REVIEW, not a general statment. It was slow, generic and predictable for me. Can't say the same about other CBI films, because I was just a kid when the 4th part came out.

My opinion about Bheeshma was highly postive, and just because I put up a negative review for this one, you're able to sense something!
