Kantara (2022)
Kantara is a batshit crazy film where everything fits just about perfectly. One of those rare breeds of cinema that follows a familiar template yet feels refreshing as hell.
The film enchants you right from its prologue and keeps the adrenaline pumping, almost endlessly. A cohesive blend of folklore and uprising, Kantara is an experience that'll leave you speechless and is one that stays in your minds rent free even after you part ways with it. Rishabh Shetty, both on and off the camera, has outdone himself, a real show of his talents through and through. The cinematography and background score together effortlessly gives you a cinematic high and becomes a terrific enhancement to the narrative.
In a word, Kantara is electrifying! A must watch on the biggest possible screen. Goosebumps guaranteed!
