Tamil Nadu distributors association has requested leading actors to take care of the theatrical release from now. Right from Kabali, Thodari, Remo, Kaashmora, Kodi, Kaththi Sandai, Bairavaa and Si3, distributors who brought the film from producers at high prices are said to have faced huge losses. They blame the producers who are hyping the box office numbers and celebrating from Day-2 of release by holding success parties and gifting directors with luxury cars and gold chains!

In a WhatsApp audio message which has gone viral, leading distributor Tiruppur Subramanian has clarified that their association has not put a red card to any leading heroes but their members are unable to bear losses anymore. “We will be glad to help the stars in theatrical release but will not be able to procure rights on MG basis. All these leading stars, who are celebrating grand success parties should understand the ground reality”, says Subramanian. Subramanian lashed out producers, he said Kabali wasn’t a successful film, Remo was a profitable venture only in two areas and also hinted that the 100cr collections of Bairavaa and Si3 are hyped figures.
